An alternative method exists for incorporating **a Z-wave device** into the home gateway.

Below are the steps provided to add a Z-wave device into the system:

Upon logging in to your **Xunison Application**, you will be automatically directed to the home gateway.&#x20;

To continue, select the home gateway and proceed further.

### Step 1:   Device Section

Once you have chosen the home gateway, the **Devices section** will be displayed.&#x20;

From the **Devices section**, navigate to the Room section within the smart home settings.

### Step 2: Add new Device

Please select the **"Include device"** option.

### Step 3: Select "Z-Wave Device"

Choose th&#x65;**&#x20;Z-Wave device** from the available options.

### Step 4: Press "Search"

Click on the **"Search"** button and quickly press the pair button on the Z-Wave device **3 times** within a timeframe of **1.5 seconds**.

### Step 5: Inclusion&#x20;

Search for a Z-Wave device to include.&#x20;

### Step 6: Device Inclusion

The device inclusion is in process with a timeout of **90 seconds**.

***Note&#x20;**: &#x20;*<font color="#2166ae">*Blue*</font>*: Device in pairing mode.&#x20;*

&#x20;           <font color="#ff6900">*Orange*</font>*: Setting up the found devices.*

### Step 7: Device Included

The device is included successfully. You can see the "**Siren**" is added in the image below.

The device will reflect in the Devices section.
