An alternative method exists for incorporating **a Z-wave device** into the home gateway.

Below are the steps provided to add a Z-wave device into the system:

Upon logging in to your **Xunison Application**, you will be automatically directed to the home gateway.&#x20;

To continue, select the home gateway and proceed further.

### Step 1: Go to the Rooms section

Proceed to the **Rooms section** and select the option labele&#x64;**&#x20;"Include New Device."**

### Step 2: Select Z-Wave

To incorporate it, choose the **Z-Wave Device**.

### Step 3: Search Device

Initiate the search process and quickly press the pair button on the **Z-Wave device** **3 times&#x20;**&#x77;ithin a span of **1.5 seconds**.

The pairing process between the device and the X-Brain device will commence.

### Step 4: Discovering Device & Included

The change in color serves as an indication that the X-Brain device has successfully detected the Z-Wave device.

You can confirm the successful **addition/inclusion** of the **Z-Wave device** ***(Siren)*** by observing it. Once verified, click on **"Done"&#x20;**&#x74;o proceed.
