How to Include Z-Wave Device?

Follow the steps below to include a Z-wave device.

Note: It is important to exclude Z-Wave devices before inclusion, follow the section below that describes how to exclude Z-wave devices. To exclude Z-Wave devices, click on the link mentioned below: 

Choose "Smart Home" from the ATV dashboard.



Click on "Settings" within the smart home dashboard.



Choose "Include devices" in the smart home settings, as indicated below.



Choose the "Z-Wave" device from the available options.



Choose "Include".



Push the pair button on the Z-wave device three times.



When the gateway identifies the smart home device, a message is displayed on the screen

"Device discovered!"



The device will enter pairing mode for a brief period of time.



Once the device is successfully paired, the screen will display the message "Interview Complete," indicating the Z-Wave device inclusion process is finished.



You can observe that the Z-Wave device "Meter Switch" has been successfully included.



Upon visiting the smart home dashboard, you will notice the appearance of the Z-wave device in the smart home section.
