This section provides information about how to configure a mesh router.

***Note:***

***1) Connect the main router with the power and Ethernet cables.  ***
***2) Connect the secondary router only with a power cable.***
***3) Keep a minimum distance of 3 to 4 meters and a maximum of 30 to 35 meters between the two routers.             ***



## To set up the Mesh router, follow the steps below:

### Note: 

Upon logging in to your **Xunison Application**, you will be automatically directed to the home gateway. 

To continue, select the home gateway and proceed further.

### Step 1: Home Screen

Once you have chosen the home gateway, the smart home devices screen will become visible.

### Step 2: Select "Router"

Select **"Router"** from the left menu.

### Step 3: "Add Satellite"

Click on **"Add Satellite".**

### Step 4: Press The Pair Button

Hold down the pair button on the **"Secondary router"** for 10-15 seconds, like it shows in the picture. Afterward, click **"OK."**

### Step 5: Choose the LED 

When the **"Secondary router"** starts flashing yellow, pick the option that says **"It's Flashing Yellow,"** just like in the picture.

**Pairing is in the process.**

The picture shows how the satellite device is connecting to the main gateway.

The secondary router initiates the negotiation process and proceeds to establish the Wi-Fi connection setup.

### Step 6: Select the mesh LED  

Choose the **Mesh LED color **that matches what you observe on the secondary router.

****<font color="#3b9f0f">**Solid Green\:** </font> The signal strength is excellent.

<font color="#9900ef">**Solid Purple\:**</font> The devices are positioned too closely together. It is recommended to move the device farther apart to ensure optimal network coverage.

****<font color="#ff6900">**Solid Orange\:**</font> The devices are positioned too far apart. It is advised to move the device closer to improve the coverage. Additionally, please note that the LED will change accordingly.

<font color="#eb144c">**Flashing Red\:** </font> The pairing process has timed out, so we will need to initiate the pairing again.

### Step 7: Mesh is Setup

The setup of the Mesh network has been successfully completed.&#x20;

Please click on **"Continue"&#x20;**&#x74;o finish.

### Step 8: Wi-Fi Mesh Graph

The Mesh network has been established successfully.

By tapping on the secondary router, you can check its speed.
