To unassign a smart home device from a specific room, open the smart home app, navigate to the "**Rooms**" settings, and select **"Device Settings"** for the device you want to unassign. Choose the "**X**" option to remove the device from the room, allowing for flexible device management and organization.

Follow the below steps  to un-assign the device from the room:

### Step 1: Select "Smart Home"

Select **"Smart home"** from the dashboard.

Step 2: Select "Devices"

Click **"Devices" **on the left menu under the smart home section.

### Step 3: Select the Device

Select the devices you want to un-assign.

### Step 4: Edit Devices

Click on Edit Devices.

### Step 5: Remove Room from the "Assigned In"

Bring the cursor over the room and then click on the "**X** "to un-assign the device from that room.

### Step 6: Save

Changes will be saved by clicking on the **"Save"** option.

The device is unassigned successfully from Room **Test2**.
