How To Configure Repeater Mode?
A repeater is an essential electronic device used in telecommunications and networking to extend the range of signals or overcome obstacles that hinder signal transmission. It acts as an intermediary between the transmitting device and the receiving device, receiving the incoming signal, amplifying it, and retransmitting it to its intended destination.
The primary purpose of a repeater is to extend the transmission distance of signals. When a signal travels over a communication medium, such as a cable or a wireless channel, it gradually weakens due to factors like attenuation and interference. As a result, the signal becomes too weak to reach its intended destination, leading to data loss or communication failure.
By receiving and amplifying the weakened signal, a repeater boosts its strength and retransmits it, effectively extending the reach of the signal.
